- To build the foundation of basic knowledge, skills and attitudes, with emphasis on moral and spiritual values, which areessential to the holistic growth and development of children
- To provide learning experiences which enhance the children’s awareness of and responsiveness to community development,nation-building and peace initiatives
- To promote among the children love of country, preservation of family ideals and respect on the diversity of Filipino cultural heritage, as well as the cultures of other peoples in the world

Admission to SICGS is determined by the Admission Committee composed of the Guidance Counselor, Registrar and some faculty members appointed by the Principal.

Clubs and Organizations
Clubs and Organizations are meant to develop the talents and skills of pupils outside the classroom. They facilitate further learning in the context of a group that fosters friendship, camaraderie and teamwork. Membership to a club or an organization based on pupils’ interest will increase pupils’ awareness on the connections of the lessons learned in class to the activities they do in their club outside the class setting

Support to Instruction Programs
-Reading Tutorial
The program aims at providing pupils the necessary and appropriate help that would benefit much especially those with readingskills deficiency. Outstanding pupils in the higher grade level are tapped to facilitate the peer tutoring in reading.
-Mathematics Remedial and Enhancement Program
The program aims at helping pupils who have difficulties in Mathematics cope with their lesson and improve their grade.
Outstanding students are tapped to help make their classmates or schoolmates understand Math. As the outstanding pupils help other pupils learn Math, their learning is enhanced and deepened.
-DEAR Program
The Drop Everything and Read (DEAR) program aims at developing pupils’ love and ability to read. Reading is an enabling skill to make pupils learn independently. To expose pupils to reading materials and to apportion a specific time for them to readis establishing an environment that gives importance to reading. Reading is not just as a learning tool but also as a trigger for the development of the children’s creativity and competence.
