MISSION It is the mission of the School of Education to form professional teachers for the elementary and secondary levels who are competent, open and sincere witnesses to Gospel values. |
OBJECTIVES
The School of Education aims at producing professionals who:
- -Posses professional and ethical qualities as teachers;
- -Are Elementary and Secondary teachers with high literacy levels in communication, numeracy, critical thinking and learning skills;
- -Have in-depth understanding on the learning process and the teacher’s role in facilitating the learning process;
- -Are efficient promoters and facilitators of learning to develop the fullest potentials of learners;
- -Recognize that several variables interplay in the learning process;
- -Are creative and innovative in practicing their professions;
- -Recognize education as harmonizing instrument for the promotion of quality personal and family life, peace, social justice, protection of nature, political stability and sustainable development;
- -Possess reflective thinking abilities in order to evaluate and improve their teaching; and
- -Appreciate the value of personal professional goals.
