The Office of Student Affairs is responsible for the general behavior of students, coordinates students’ extra-curricular activities and is directly in-charged with planning, coordinating and implementing the programs pertaining to student guidance, health, safety, canteen services, and other duties. (Administrative, Faculty and Personnel manual, August 2003, p. 35)

GOALS

The Office aims to conduct student activities that promote openness, development of multiple intelligences and competencies, love of country, spiritual, environment, social and political consciousness.

OBJECTIVES

The following are the objectives of the Office:

  • to provide avenues for inquiry and interaction
  • to develop and strengthen the appreciation and love for Filipino culture and heritage
  • to nurture spirituality through religious activities
  • to train student  leaders and inculcate in them the necessary leadership skills and prime values for governance
  • to provide related exposures, symposia, seminars, dialogues and the like to promote understanding and wise judgment on social, political and environmental issues
  • to enhance sportsmanship through healthy athletic competitions
